The Ghost Heart

The work, created by master glassmaker Giancarlo Signoretto together with Agnese Tegon—formerly an aspiring master glassmaker since the time of the Serenissima—and cardiac surgeon Gino Gerosa, invites us to look beyond the reality of things: a “ghost” heart that, in the not-too-distant future, could beat again after being decellularized and repopulated with stem cells from the potential recipient.
